Best Beaches in Gokarna

Gokarna Beach
One of the most popular beaches in Gokarna, Gokarna Beach recently gained fame for being a surfing spot. It is also renowned for its scenic trekking excursion one can take from here.

Located near the Mahabaleshwara Temple, the Gokarna Beach is also known as the place where pilgrims first come to take a dip before entering the temple. You can also visit the other beaches of the area, including Half Moon Beach, Paradise Beach, Om Beach as well as Kudle Beach from here.

This beach provides some of the sea and the surrounding hills' most stunning sights. Some of Gokarna Beach's adventure activities include sailing, jet-skiing, snorkeling, and hiking.

Om Beach
The beach is formed such that the symbol "OM" in the Devanagari script appears to be favorable and named after it. For a range of water sports and events that people enjoy, Om beach is one of Gokarna's pristine beaches.

From the hustle and bustle banana ride to the swift jet ski ride from hilly beach trekking to the Dolphin place in the middle of the sea; OM Beach is spot-on.

Between the two coasts of OM, the beach is filled with shops, huts, and cafes for a nice holiday.

Half Moon Beach
Sandy beaches are fantastic but an endless stretch of the Arab Ocean is ecstatic in a dense and lush jungle. Half Moon Strand is an experience in which you can participate in many events such as swimming, kayaking, paddle boats, trekking, hiking, and so on.

Half-moon is one of Gokarna's beaches, which can be reached on a picturesque tour from Gokarna beach and covered in one go by the popular five Gokarna beaches. This beach takes its name from its half-moon-like shape.

Kudle Beach
Beach Kudle is one of Gokarna's most popular beaches. It is a long stretch of fine sand and blue sea that is totally remote, making it ideal for those seeking solitude and serenity.

Kudle Beach is situated far from the tourist areas of Gokarna and is frequented mainly by travelers from abroad in search of comfort and relaxation. Kudle Beach is best known as the swimming and the walking area near both Om Beach and Gokarna Beach.

This beach is the perfect place to visit if you want to spend time alone, with loved ones, and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and views of nature.

Paradise Beach
Paradise beach is well known as the 'full moon beach.' You have to go on a motorboat from OM beach or half-moon beach or to walk down the half-moon beach to reach this beach.

The beach of Paradise is 150 meters long and is a great place to swim and camp. Roughly 70% of the beach is paved with rocks that make images perfectly illuminated.

Nirvana Beach
You feel in an unreal world, because of the secret surroundings of Nirvana beach. The beach is really long, and you don't find friends because it's not much off the beaten.

If you go to Nirvana beach, it is recommended that you bring food and water, as no facilities are open.

Swimming is an excellent sport, but you must stop going underwater because the ocean has heavy waves because of its lack of a lifeguard and many civilizations.

Baada Beach
As the path from Kirki to Gokarna falls, Baada Beach falls. It's Gokarna's cleanest beach, even because it is about 10 km away from the bus station Kumta.

In the middle, there are some rocks and hillocks on both sides surrounding the beach. When you walk, it feels like a private beach, as it's crowd-free with some huts and cottages along the banks.

Small Hell beach
The beach is one of Gokarna's few beaches, where you can not only go trekking and sunbathing but also camp. It's one of the cleanest and most idyllic beaches in town, and if you're in Gokarna, you definitely have to visit the beach.

The Tiny Hell Beach is a natural wonder which seems only out of a fairy tale, offering stunning scenery from the vast golden sand and amazing and calm ultramarine water.

The beach is pristine and untouched, which makes it all the more mystical and lovely. The tiny hell cliff overlooks the picturesque beach, perfect for anyone wishing to take pictures of nature.
