The method and 4 Cs of diamond

Diamond is jewelry that sets you apart from others. The uniqueness of their design and composition is what makes them different from the other gemstones. Since ancient times India was known for its diamond jewelry. From Kohinoor to Daria-i-Noor, the diamond quality of India is always top-notch. There was a time when India was only dependent on mines to acquire diamonds.

Times have changed, and now we have Lab grown diamond manufacturers in India to deliver the quality of diamond to everyone. Known for its artistry the country now have their Lab grown diamond manufacturers in India which provide these exceptional blending of technology and craftsmanship. But, there are certain things that you need to know before purchasing a lab diamond, including the 4 C's and the process of creation. The 4 C's of diamonds and the methods can help you choose from the perfect Lab grown diamond manufacturers in India for your business.

Methods to create Lab-grown Diamonds:
The creation of a lab diamond is not limited to one method. There are two methods manufacturers use to produce lab diamonds of the finest quality. Many Lab grown manufacturers use either of the two procedures, while others use both. The two methods are HPHT and CVD. Both of these methods produce fine quality Real diamonds.

Chemical Vapour Deposition:
Popularly termed as CVD, the Chemical Vapour Deposition uses heat and chemical gases to produce Lab diamonds.
1. Firstly, they use a device that is known as a CVD chamber to carry out their procedure.
2. Secondly, they need a diamond seed to produce lab ones.
3. Now, the experts place the diamond seed into the CVD chamber and heat it.
4. After the heating, they introduce gases that are rich in carbon to the heated container.
5. Since the vessel has enough heat, the gases break down into carbon atoms.
6. These carbon atoms then attach themselves to the diamond seed, ultimately creating our diamond.

High Pressure High Temperature:
The High Pressure High Temperature method, or the acronym HPHT, uses high pressure and temperature to create lab diamonds.
1. Firstly, the experts use a BARS press or an HPHT chamber. The chamber is of a different design to withstand the high amount of pressure.
2. In this method, we also require a diamond seed to carry out the rest of the procedure.
3. The experts place the diamond seed in carbon and then expose them to intense heat and pressure.
4. Due to the intensity, the carbon molecules break down and bond with the diamond seed.
5. After the bonding is complete, the experts cool the diamonds down.
6. The cooling process ultimately gives us the HPHT diamond.
Often the Lab grown diamond manufacturers in India prefer CVD diamonds as they are economical and give the freedom of controlling customization and quality of the diamond.
So if you are a Lab grown diamonds wholesaler or retailer, you should know your preferred method.

The 4 C's of diamond:
The four C's of the diamond determines their value, worth, and quality. While buying from a Lab grown diamonds manufacturer, the four C's and their grading will help you purchase the best diamond for your business.

Cut
The Cut of a diamond determines its shape and size. Different cuts like round-cut, emerald-cut, heart-cut maintain the essence of the jewelry.
People widely recognize diamond jewelry because of its Cut. Many people choose their engagement rings or pendants on the basis of diamond-cut.

Clarity
The clarity of a diamond determines its quality which affects the price. The diamond grading range by GIA concludes the type of diamond you are manufacturing or selling.
1. FL, IS: The range consists of diamonds that are internally flawless. It means they have no inclusions under 10x magnification.
2. VVS1, VVS2: The range has almost no inclusions present in them. However, it has slightly more inclusions than the FL range.
3. VS1, VS2: The series has very slight inclusions. More than VVS1 range but still hardly visible under magnification.
4. S1, S2: The range consists of slight inclusions that are visible under magnification up to 10x.
5. I1, I2: The range has inclusions that are visible under magnification and with naked eyes.

The FL range has the highest clarity-grade diamonds. Due to this reason, they are also the most expensive ones of all the other series. The rate of a diamond decreases as the clarity declines.

Color
The color of a diamond determines its natural hue. Similar to the clarity, the color of the diamond also determines its worth. The color grade range is to conclude the True natural color of diamonds.
1. D-F: This is the range of colorless diamonds. Colorless means you won't find any yellowish tint to the diamond
2. G-J: Almost similar to the previous point, they are almost colorless.
3. K-M: A very feeble amount of yellow hue is visible in this range of diamonds.
4. N-R: Here is the range where you will start observing the yellow hue in your diamonds.
5. S-Z: The yellow tint is more than any other color-grade diamond.
The D-F range is the highest color grade diamonds and is expensive.

Carat:
The carat determines the weight and size of a diamond. Higher carat weight means heavier diamond. As the carat weight increases, the price also shoots up, but there is a catch. If the carat weight is high and the quality is low, the price will be less. Hence, while buying from Lab grown diamond manufacturers in India, you should know the 4 C's and the method of creation as it can heavily affect the quality of diamonds you are selling. Finegrown diamonds is one of the leading Lab grown diamond manufacturers in India that produce CVD Diamonds for wholesalers, retailers, and business owners.
